About the South Coast Writers
Centre
The South Coast Writers Centre provides professional
development, information and networks for writers and readers
on the South Coast and Southern Highlands of NSW.
The Centre’s premises are located in Wollongong. The
South Coast Writers’ Centre is a membership-based, incorporated
not-for-profit organisation supported by Arts NSW, Wollongong
City Council and the University of Wollongong. It is part
of Litlink, a statewide network of writers’ centres.
Membership
Membership of the South Coast Writers’ Centre
means access to email news and the Newsletter SCWC Quarterly,
reduced rates on workshop fees, invitations to readings and
book launches, access to information about writing and publishing,
and for those living in or near Wollongong, the use of the
SCWC premises for meetings, writing and reading groups, and
quiet space for writing.
By becoming a member of the South Coast Writers’ Centre,
you will be supporting the development of skills, networks
and activities for writers and readers on the South Coast
and Southern Highlands.
